Being a busy, single mom has really put the pressure on me to learn
all I can from how to fix a bike tire to how to manage money
effectively. I soon began to realize that many women need a friend
or two to guide them because we cannot know everything about
everything. I decided after some painful experiences to be the
friend who can guide women in the areas of insurance and
investments. I became part of The Northwestern Mutual Financial
Network team in 2006, luckily, through an acquaintance at a WLN
dinner. My goal is to help the Women’s Leadership Network grow in
order for all its members to find friends to guide them in personal,
professional and financial growth.

Pat has been a Certified Public Accountant since
1993. She has worked in public accounting for 13 years with
the last 9 years in the area of tax.
Pat received her
Bachelors of Science in Accountancy in December, 1991 from Northern
Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. Her Masters of
Science in Taxation was obtained in May, 1998 from DePaul University
in Chicago, Illinois.
During her career, Pat has prepared and reviewed corporate,
partnership and individual federal and state tax returns in all
areas. She has successfully managed several clients and
personnel.
